Business Visa

This visa enables you to launch a new business in Australia or expand an existing one.

To meet criteria subclass 132

• An Australian State or Territory government has nominated you for immigration to Australia.

• You have been given the opportunity to apply through the SkillSelect platform.

• After entering Australia, you have a sincere and practical commitment to start a new business or join an already established one, maintain a sizable ownership position, and participate in the day-to-day operation of the enterprise.

This visa divided into two streams:

• Significant Business History Stream
• Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream

• Significant Business History Stream

This visa is for seasoned entrepreneurs who want to run a new or existing firm in Australia.

With this visa you must have :

• A net worth of at least AUD1.5 million.

• A minimum annual business revenue of AUD3 million for at least two of the four fiscal years prior to the application invitation.

• A total net worth of at least AUD 400,000 held as an ownership interest in one or more eligible enterprises for at least two of the four most recent fiscal years prior to the invitation to apply.

The fee to apply for this visa is:  AUD 7,855.00

The processing time for this visa is approximately 41 months.

• Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream

This visa is available to those who obtained venture capital money from an Australian Investment Council (AIC) member (formerly known as the Australian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL)).

With this visa you must have :

Financial backing totalling at least $1 million from an Australian venture capital firm.
